How do I use the Ferly App and Ferly Card?

Download the Ferly App to purchase gift value, give gift value to others along with personalized messages, and track your own gift value balances all in one place

Request a Ferly Card by mail, enroll it in your app, and use it to make purchases at participating merchant locations.

What do I do if my Ferly App is removed or I get a new phone?

Download the Ferly App and select “Already have an account?” Enter the email address associated with your account and proceed. Gift value balances and other aspects of your account will be restored.

Enrolling the Ferly Card

How do I get a Ferly Card?

Request one by mail using the Ferly App under Menu>Ferly Card.

How do I enroll my Ferly Card?

After you’ve received your Ferly Card in the mail, navigate to Menu>Ferly Card in the Ferly App and follow the enrollment instructions, which include entering the 16-digit number of the back of your card and setting a unique PIN to use when you make purchases with your Ferly Card.

How do I deactivate my Ferly Card?

As a security feature, you can temporarily disable the Ferly Card when it’s not in use from Menu>Ferly Card. Don’t forget to re-enable it before you try to make a purchase.

You can also remove your Ferly Card from Menu>Ferly Card at any time to deactivate it and remove it from your wallet.

Can I have more than one Ferly Card enrolled in my app?

No, you may enroll only one Ferly Card in your app.

Using the Ferly Card

Does my Ferly Card have a PIN?

Yes, you’ll be asked to enter a PIN when using your Ferly Card at most merchants. You’ll set the PIN when you enroll your card and can update the PIN anytime in the Ferly App under Menu>Ferly Card.

Can I use the Ferly Card online?

Not yet. We are working on it! For now you can use the Ferly Card at participating merchants’ physical locations.

Can I use the Ferly Card at an ATM?

No, the Ferly Card cannot be used at an ATM since the gift value you hold is not redeemable for cash

Can my Ferly Card be used outside of the United States?

No, the Ferly Card can be used only at participating merchants. At this time, participating merchants are limited to the US

Can I use the Ferly Card at a Fuel Pump with participating merchants

No, the Ferly Card cannot be used at fuel pumps with participating merchants at this time.

Are there any restrictions on the Ferly Card?

You may activate one Ferly Card in your Ferly App for use at participating merchants’ point of sale to redeem gift value you own in your wallet

The use of the Ferly Card is subject to the Ferly Cardholder and App Agreement.

Problems with My Ferly Card

What if I can’t enroll or remove my Ferly Card

What do I do if my Ferly Card is lost?

If you lose your Ferly Card, simply remove it from the Ferly App under Menu>Ferly Card. You can request a replacement card by mail as well.

What do I do if my Ferly Card is stolen or suspect a fraudulent transaction?

Immediately remove the card from your Ferly App. Then email support@ferly.com or call our toll-free number at (800) 651-2186. Our customer service hours are Monday through Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM MST.

Purchasing & Using Gift Value

How do I redeem gift value?

After enrolling a Ferly Card in your app, use the card at participating merchants’ point of sale to redeem gift value you hold. You can only redeem an amount less than or equal to your available balance for a given merchant.

Can I reload gift value?

Yes, you can purchase gift value any time, anywhere from the in-app marketplace. If you already hold gift value for a given merchant, the amount purchased will be added to your existing gift value balance.

What if my purchase is more than the value available in my app for a merchant?

Most merchants allow for split transactions where you would use gift value as partial payment and pay the remainder of the balance with another form of payment (e.g., cash, credit/debit card). Tell the cashier at the beginning of the payment the amount of gift value you’d like to use as partial payment. You can tell them only an amount less than or equal to the amount of gift value available in your Ferly App for that merchant, or the transaction will be declined for non-sufficient funds.

Can I exchange gift value for cash?

Gift value purchased or received from others using the Ferly App is redeemable only for goods and services at participating merchant locations. All gift value purchased using the Ferly App is final and cannot be redeemed for cash except where required by law.

Giving & Receiving Gifts

Can I regift gift value held in my app?

Yes, you can gift any gift value you hold to another user of the Ferly App even if you initially received that gift value from another Ferly user as a gift. Select “Give Gift” in the app, find the correct recipient, and add a personalized message.

Am I limited to regifting gift value in specific amounts (e.g., $15, $25, $50)?

No, you can regift any amount (e.g., $5.25, $0.45, $45.32, etc.) of gift value up to the amount you hold in your app.

Are there any restrictions on gift value I hold in the Ferly App?

Gift value purchased or received from others using the Ferly App is redeemable only for goods and services at participating merchant locations. View a merchant’s participating locations in the app by clicking on a card you hold in your wallet to view more details.

Gift value is not protected by FDIC insurance or any other government guarantee.

What if I received a transaction in error?

If you believe you received a transaction in error, you can send the gift value back to the sender.

Fees, Expiration, & Returns

Does the use of the Ferly Card have any fees?

Normal use of the Ferly Card is not associated with any fees. However, Ferly is not responsible for any fees or charges incurred in using or attempting to use your debit or credit card to purchase gift value, including but not limited to non-sufficient funds or interest charges.

Does gift value have any fees?

No fees (e.g., dormancy or inactivity fees) apply to gift value you hold in your Ferly App

Does gift value expire?

No expiration dates apply to gift value you hold in your Ferly app.

How are merchandise returns processed?

Ferly is not responsible for the quality or any other aspect of goods or services you purchase from merchants with your Ferly Card. Returns or refunds must be handled directly with the merchant. If the merchant allows a return or refund, the allowed amount of gift value will be returned to your Ferly App, similar to how the merchant would return funds to your normal debit card.

Can I return gift value?

Yes, you can return gift value to a merchant unused by calling Customer Service, but there will be no credit or cash refund provided in return.
